If you are in the Tirol region, you can cross over the border to Germany. You can also stay and explore some of the area’s many attractions. What may surprise you is that many of the sights are unrelated to skiing. This is true of the Klause Valley Fort.

You can follow the old Roman Road, the Via Claudia, from Biberwier to visit the ruins topping this ancient hill.
