In the rural community of St. Oswald, not far from Bad Kleinkirchheim, is the church of St. Oswald. It dates back to an earlier period before skiing became a passion and a means of economic viability. The changes in architecture reflect, updating, renovation and the passage of time. The church, however, still holds primacy among the villagers. It also still reflects its roots in the past through its architecture

The first thing you notice about the Church of St. Oswald is its spire. It rises clearly above the landscape of the village. The site has been home to a church since the 13th century. The present church of St. Oswald, however, only goes back to the 16th century. Inside, you can view the Baroque altars. The oldest of them dates from 1678.It features the Saint of the church and village, St. Oswald. Be sure to admire the unique organ. Although only dating from 1837, the organ retains its wooden flue pipes. This makes it one of the few in Austria to do so.
