This Vienna hotel is located in the capital’s fourth district called Wieden. It is possible to walk to Innere Stadt from here, to view attractions such as Hofburg, Stephansdom and Michaelerplatz, though Wieden has popular features of its own such as Karlskirche, Wien Museum and Naschmarkt. This district is also the home of the glorious Belvederegarten – site of the Belvedere baroque palace complex, Österreichische Galerie and Botanischer Garten der Universität Wien - within easy walking distance to the east of the accommodation. A tram stop for lines 62 and 1, running to Karlsplatz, and for the ‘badner Bahn’, is right outside the hotel. Round the corner is a bus stop for the 13A bus, running to Mariahilferstrasse, Vienna’s most popular shopping street. U Bahn station Taubstummengasse is a ten minute walk from the accommodation, and lies on line U1, which runs through Innere Stadt to ‘Kagran’.

From Flughafen Wien: Take the City Airport Train to station ‘Wien Mitte/Landstraße’ and change here onto U Bahn line U4 direction ‘Hütteldorf’. Get off at ‘Karlsplatz’ and change onto S Bahn line 1 or 62 towards ‘Philadelphiabrücke’. Get off at ‘Wien Johann Strauß Gasse’; the hotel is a two minute walk from here.
