The Faakarsee Lake has crystal clear Alpine waters. It is in the province of Carinthia, Austria. As one of the region’s warmest lakes, it provides tourists and locals with plenty of beach opportunities. In fact, the lake has at least 10 public beaches.

The waters of Faakar See Lake are turquoise in color. The water quality is high. It is approximately 29.50 meters deep. The water can rise in temperature as high as 26 degrees Centigrade in the summer. This provides for relaxed and comfortable swimming. You can swim and use paddle or electric boats, but you can not use a motorboat. Motorboats are only for rescue and police work. The area provides a wide selection of hotels and attractions. They include the Finkelstein Castle and its Burgarena. You can leave an afternoon at the beach for a sunset and panoramic view of the region, then follow it up with a pleasant evening at a concert event at the Castel arena (Burggarena). A wonderful way to end a day at the beach.
