It is also interesting to wander through a local museum. The village of Gmunden has two. One is the museum of Sanitary Fittings. It only displays ceramic objects relating to such sanitary fittings as toilet bowls and chamber pots. The other is a more prosaic museum. It is the Kammerhof or Municipal Museum.
