Located just off the Ramblas on Carrer Hospital, the Welcome Inn is a 10 minute walk from Plaça Catalunya and a 3 minute walk from the Ramblas, La Boqueria Market. Address: CALLE HOSPITAL 93, 3 - 1.The buzzer reads 3-1 welcome inn, located up the stairs on the top floor on the left hand-side (IT IS NOT the Pension Manu, located on the ground floor of the same building)Check-in time is from 12 noon. Please note: Arrivals after 22.00 hrs are subject to a 5 Euro per person surcharge. Please call the apartment to arrange a check-in time. GROUPS: For groups of 5 or more people travelling together, we request a SECURITY DEPOSIT of 40 Euros per person. At the end of the stay, once no damage has been done to the rooms/apt the deposit will be returned in full.

Offering comfortable and budget accommodation and proving especially popular with backpackers, students, young couples and young professionals. A fully refurbished setting, the Welcome Inn is brand-spanking new and features a new spacious living room area, a larger fancier kitchen, new and improved bathrooms and some en-suite rooms. Its still got the feel of an indie hostel, but you get a swish private room for the same price.The large and stylish state-of-the-art kitchen and dining space make a great place to eat breakfast in the morning or start a night out in the evening with a few drinks and a bite to eat. The large kitchen caters for all tastes, from coffee and toast to the visitor that likes to cook their favourite food even when away from home. There are 2 clean bathrooms to ensure there are no queues in the morning. A cleaning lady visits daily to ensure the place is in tip-top condition for all guests.The living room with its open plan and comfortable chill-out sofas is a cosy space that makes you feel very much at home from the second you arrive in the door. Perfect for meeting up with like-minded travellers and sharing stories, plotting nights out/world domination etc.5 bedrooms assure that your stay in Barcelona is intimate and yet enjoyable. The apartment has 2 new en-suite Double bedrooms, 2 new comfy Double bedrooms with a balcony and 1 new 4-person bunk room with a balcony. The rooms are all new and nicely decorated in a comfortable way that will make you glad to be on holidays and away from your home.When you do want to get outside and explore the city: Trendy cafés and bars, good and affordable restaurants, internet/telephone services, supermarkets and the infamous Ramblas are all just down the street. The MACBA contemporary art museum - more famous for being the popular international skateboarding hang-out and the location of SONAR day, is also just around the corner. The Metro, the Barri Gotic, the Sea, the market and Plaça Catalunya are all within easy walking distance and there is an internet cafe below the hostel-apartment that offers 30 minutes for 50 cents.ATTENTION: Not for the weak-knee-d. How to reach the hotel?You can take the Aerobus to Plaça Catalunya. The closest metro stops are L3 Liceu and L2 Sant Antoni.
How to reach the apartment
From El Prat, Barcelona Airport:
Take the airport bus or train to Plaza Catalunya, then take the Green Metro (L3) to LICEU.
Take the Liceu exit and you come out on the Ramblas. Looking downhill, Calle Hospital is on the right-hand side. Walk down the Calle Hospital street for about 3 minutes and hey presto: no. 93 is on the left. But please call us when you arrive in Barcelona to arrange a check-in time and if necessary a meeting point: we offer to meet guests free of charge at Plaza Catalunya if necessary and with prior notice.
From Sants Bus/Train Station (Ryanair REUS Airport bus stop):
Take the Green Metro (L3) to Liceu.
Take the Liceu exit and it leaves you on the Ramblas. Looking downhill, Calle Hospital is on the right-handside. Walk down the Calle Hospital street for about 3 minutes and hey presto: no. 93 is on the left. Take the red metro (L1) from ARC DE TRIOMF 2 stops to PLACA CATALUNYA, from there, change onto the green line (L3) and go one stop to Liceu.

Hotel was in very good location,close to all amenities, main attractions and transport and at the same time not too much noise. 
Our room was never cleaned altough the cleaning lady was in the apartament for most of day. there was no consideration for our privacy, both management and staff on seperate occasions enetered our room without knocking. Anonymous

A welcome in was clean, and the location was very close to las ramblas. it was more like a hostel than a hotel, and for the price, it was nice to have a private room. the kitchen was so nice to have access to, and is well equiped.
A welcome inn does not have anyone available to answer questions about the city or give recommendations, like a hostel or a hotel. the walls are very thin, but it only has a few rooms so there are not many people there to make too much of a disterbance. Abi Oates
