How to reach the hotel?The Apartments Hispanos 7 Suiza are really well connected with public transport. in about 3 minutes walk you can find the metro (2 different lines), surronded by different buses, a taxi stop in only 3 minutes walk (we can also order the cab for you to pick you up in the reception) or even a stop for the turistic bus just in front of the Sagrada Familia Temple (3 minutes walking). Really beautiful finishes in the room. plenty of space for a family of four in a two bedroom suite.The floor in the kitchen was a little dirty and you actually had to pay extra to have the kitchen cleared up (washing of dishes) as i understood the instruction sheet in the room.Anonymous

The building is very smart and well located near to sagrada familia, in an area which is mainly full of businesses and apartment buildings. the receptionists were welcoming and efficient. we stayed in the royal suite which was beautifully furnished and excellent for our short stay of only 2 nights. there was a large balcony, comfy living room and well furn ished bedrooms.The only minor points are that the apartment actually had two bathrooms and a toilet, not three bathrooms as quoted (with 5 women this was a bit inconvenient) also one of the showers did not have a wall bracket, so it was difficult to use for washing your hair.
the surrounding area is very quiet at night and at the weekend so there weren't any open bars or restaurants nearby, but we did feel safe there and the metro was a short walk making it easy to get around.Catryn Brogan

The apartments, and restaurant, are excellent. although not in the city centre, it is located close to the sagrado familia and just yards away from the best watering hole in barcelona, an irish pub called michael collins. we will definitely be returning!Anonymous

The hispanos is 6* rated in my opinion. this is a first rate hotel with staff to match. eva on the front desk could not be more helpful to the clients.

You are never totally sure what you are going to get when you book. this was better than we had expected though. staff friendly and helpful. good breakfast to set you up for the day. nice little touches like the one-size-fits-all slippers, although they did not quite fit my big feet!. they did fit everyone else though. well located near the sagrada. although it is not in the centre, it is very easy to hop on the metro next to the sagrada and in a few minutes you get to anywhere in the city. well equipped kitchen had everything so you could easily cater for yourself if you did not want to use the excellent restaurant. there is a small polish supermarket opposite, but there is a larger one about 2 minutes walk away. we had two bedrooms, one double one twin, as we travelled with our twin sons aged 17. we had 2 bathrooms which was useful, so no queue on a morning! i would definitely recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again. None that i can think of, other than better directions. it is very close to the metro. we had difficulty finding it straight away and had to ask in the irish bar, which was only about 100 yards away. they showed us the way, and it was easy after that.Gary Lowndes

The hotel was fantastic and was far better than expected. the quality of the hotel was excellent and the champagne at breakfast was a wonderful touch!The hotel was a 10 euro taxi ride from the main centre but the hotel itself was fantastic. it took about 35 mins to walk to the main centre.Mr L Wiilding

First time in an apartment - but really good experience. staff very friendly and very helpful - nothing too much trouble. liked the blend of having one's own space - yet still good bar and restaurant options if wanted. your question below ask 'who would you recommend to and forces you to choose one of honeymooner, mature, couples etc etc. i think it would be great for all who like their independence.Didn't actually need it - but noticed there was no iron in room. hair dryer not very sophisticated either. didn't see any internet connectivity.Anonymous
