Once in PLAZA CATALUNYA you can get the metro following the previous directions or get a taxi for around 6€. Guests arriving at GIRONA airport This airport is 90km away from Barcelona and there are buses for every flight that lands. All eight apartments and the superb attic for two persons has exterior facing with balconies that allow you to enjoy views of the Gothic Quarter and located right in the centre of the city, 200m from Las Ramblas and the Cathedral next to Placa Sant Jaume; where the city hall is located.This building was refurbished and opened its doors on the 1st of October 2006, tastefully decorated and in a charming environment to ensure your extra comfort. Arrived no problem,dropped off in taxi at end of street as road was closed by police(fiesta),but found apartments easilly,owing to previously looking at web sites photos of exterior.
everything as i had imagined, but bonus of 3 balconies with room 5 as it is on the corner of the building.
very clean and extremely good value for money,and yes very central to everything.
very busy,narrow street,particularly when man utd played barcelona during our stay.
champagne on balcony looking out,brilliant!
would stay there again,no qualms!! 
Really the noise was not an issue for us,we were expecting it,it is a very busy city,but the charm of the area made up for it in my opinion. Anonymous

Very nice apartment over looking the street very clean with an all you need kitchen set up.
Would have liked a reception area, a hair dryer or stated there was not one in the room on the web site. beds a bit hard. Rhiannon Williamson

Lovely room,large balcony and a very comfy bed. all of the facilites you need. great location and staff really friendy and efficient.
It was a little noisy at night, but that was to be expected and we were told about this. but you did get used to it but wasn't a problem. Gertrud Lundkvist

Central location near the cathedral. we got an apartment on the 4th floor and we heard very little noise from the street.

We loved the room that we stayed in and the beds were really comfortable. very close to the bustle and hustly of the city, which we loved and truly enjoyed.
Although being in a center of the city we would not expect such a noise, which may also be down to being placed in the front part of the hotel. we did not like that they have not given us a choice of the positioning of the room. staff tried to be friendly, but we found them a bit rude and were surprised that there was no reception.
