The Hotel Astoria is a benchmark amongst high quality hotels in our city. After half a century at the service of our clients we still offer a recently renovated facility which respects the original stately spaces while providing state-of-the-art technology, thus enabling guests to enjoy modern-day comforts in a tried and true hotel.
The hotel has 114 completely equipped rooms. On the eighth floor of the hotel, with magnificient views of the city, guests can make use of the gymnasium, sauna and an enticing terrace with a swimming pool and bar, where you can relax and savour a refreshing cocktail.
Recently the hotel has opened a new exhibition with illustrations by the catalan artist Ricard Opisso. This is a permanent exhibition that is held in the three main meeting rooms of the hotel. It has over 110 pieces that will add to the character to this unique and well established hotel of Barcelona's Eixample. Our guests can also come to relish a menu featuring traditional Catalan Cuisine at the Astor bar and restuarant.

The Hotel Astoria boasts a special location in the veritable heart of Barcelona, Eixample Cerdà, near Diagonal avenue and Passeig de Gràcia.
The hotel is located just a stone's throw from the city's most alluting shopping district: Diagonal avenue with its numerous fashion boutiques and design shops; Rambla Catalunya, the preferred promenade of Barcelona residents; and Passeig de Gracia, where we can find two of Gaudi's masterpieces, La Pedrera and La Casa Batlló.

From the Barcelona-El Prat international airport, take the Aerobús to Plaça Espanya and there take bus line 27 (Pl. Espanya-Roquetes) to Diagonal 508-510 stop.

Nice reception area, pleasant pool with good chill out music and towels for use on sunbeds!
Its quite possibly the nosiest hotel i have ever stayed at, restoration of rooms on floor meant being woke up by drills and banging from 8.30 am on first morning had to move rooms; second night some stupid jordie lads thought it would be better to stay in rather than go out and keep everyone awake and third morning the maids were playing musical beds from first thing. apart from that great!03 Jun 08
The staff as we arrived were very polite and helpful, i liked the airy feel of the foyer and the roof terrace. the rooms were perfect for my friend and i- very comfortable beds and we slept very well. the location was also excellent and we hardly spent any money on transport due to the convenience with regards to passeig de gracias and fontana.Not applicable25 May 08
The staff spoke very good english and were very helpful. it was a typically elegant italian decorated hotel. it has a lovely rooftop terrace with small pool with fantastic views over the city.The hotel is a good 25 minute walk from the main drag in barcalona and unless you have a good street map you will struggle to find it. it was extremely disappointing and ruined my time in barcalona, i would certainly not recommend it.13 May 08

The staff were friendly and offered alot of assistance. I was not informed that there was going to be any renovation on the 2 rooms beside mine. it was really inconvenient and disturbing.09 Jun 08

Prima service, vriendelijk. net hotel.
Een zeer luidruchtig hotel zeer onpersoonlijk totaal geen uitzicht in de kamer bij slecht weer totaal geen comfortabele bank of stoel op de kamer het ontbijt zeer simpel geen 13.00euro per persoon waardook geen gelegenheid om in het hotel een kop koffie te drinken. dit hotel is voor ons geen aanrader.
