A completely new hostel, with all the conveniences that interest you and with an excellent value for money. With the experience and the guarantee of our group of lodgings Barcelona City Hostels always directed to the independent traveller, clean lodgings with a very good quality in relation to price.
Stay in the safest and most distinguished area in the centre of Barcelona: Sarriá-Sant Gervasi, with excellent connections to the rest of the centre and the airport: five minutes from everywhere. The location of the hostal is strategic: we are on the “border” that divides the neighbourhoods Gracia, Eixample and Sarriá-SantGervasi. All our rooms face the street: authentic natural day light in all of them! We are not a hotel, but we offer you what you most value in a hotel: bathroom en suite, air conditioning, cleaning, free internet access.
We are an adequate lodging for those persons that visit Barcelona for tourism, business, medical reasons. We will be very glad to have you as our guest and to try, like always, to make your stay in Barcelona an unforgettable experience.

The location of the hostal is strategic: we are on the “border” that divides the neighbourhoods Gracia, Eixample and Sarriá-Sant Gervasi.
How to reach the hotel?You can take a taxi (more or less 30€) or, if you prefer, take the aerobús(airport shuttle) infront of your terminal and get off at Plaza Catalunya. From there you can take the FGC -Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat de Catalunya- (, Line 7) and get off at the station Plaça Molina, or take the subway (, Line 3 or Green line) and get off at Lesseps. The hostal is very close to both stations, askfor the Saragossa street or consult the map.
From Girona´s airport
We recommend you to take a taxi, especially if you arrive at night. With the public transportation, we recommend you –in order to not get lost- to take the train in the station Arc del Triomf (next to the bus station) and get off in Plaza Catalunya (1 or 2 stops). From there, take the FGC (Line 7) and get off at Plaza Molina.
By Train
You will probably arrive to the station Sants, if you do not, consult us. From the station, you can take the Line 3 (Green) of the subway until you get to the station Lesseps, the hostal is 5-10 minutes from there. Another possibility is to take the bus number 32 and get off at Avenida Príncipe de Asturias (ask the driver).
By Subway
The Lesseps station (Line 3) is three blocks away, and it will take you to the rest of the city in a few minutes.
By Bus
There are many buses that pass by very close to the hostal. These buses connect to the main spots in the city such as Plaza Catalunya or Plaza Urquinaona (line 16 or 17), the beach in Barcelona (line 17), Plaza España- Montjuich-Exhibition hall (line 27), Sants station (line 32), the University area (line 74), the hospital Clinic or the Quirón clinic (line 31, line 32) or the hospital Vall d´Hebron (line 17, line 27).
At your arrival we will give you more information. Do not doubt to ask us.
At night
The subway only close during three hours on week-ends (from 2h until 5h), and for five from sunday to thursday (from 24h until 5h).
Another possibility at night are the taxis or the night buses. There are several night buses that passes close to the hostal, like the N-4 and the N-8, but the best and most recommended to not get lost is to take the N-5 in Plaza Catalunya, that will leave you one block from the hostal ( ask the driver for Plaça Molina and he will tell you where to get off.)

The person who was to meet with us to give us our room key was very pleasant and helpful even as we arrived almost 3 hours late due to not being able to locate hostelAs we were arriving by car there were no directions given to the hostel by way of vehicle only public transportation it took us 2 hours to find the hostel. it did not have any clear posting on the outside of building as we are used to seeing at most hostels.

The city north was a very pleasant experience. the staff were friendly and informative, and the room was very clean. it was only a short distance from the metro stop to get to the main city, and was very good value for money.There were several 'noisy neighbours' but that was due to the football match, and the vending machine ran out of my favourite drink.Anonymous

The staff were very helpful. the room was small but clean and well presented - good bathroom, aircon and satellite tv. in a good quiet district and pretty handy for lesseps metro.The shower was very small and poorly designed,and there were no snacks of any kind available not even from a vending machine.Ann Crayford

The staff were very friendly and very helpfull, though their enlish was limited, like my spanish, it was a very easy enviroment, no set rules.the kettle and room set up was usefull, also the microwave and extra china.the rooms were spotless also the linen, towels were changed every day. rooms a reasonable size. the gaudi park ,shops,resturants, station lesseps, all walking distance. buses near.people kind. The water was too hot, a problem in the shower, to contoll the temperature, the shower size small, no where to put the towel.
the computer facility was in the out side lobby not the room as stated. there was afault with the key board letters, e.g. press 1 key and another letter had transposed. the televison was not satellite as stated! hand set needed new batteries, and it was placed at ceiling height, too high.some residents came in late, noisy, next to me. woke me up, signs for quiet?
the accomodation would benefit greatly from double glazing.these are only small irritations as the whole area/ hostel was spotless, the girls work hard and very very kind.
it would help to have a bus,rout timetable. also for trains, not just a map. i am a pensioner.Anonymous

We arrived very late at the hotel, because of delayed flight, but we were expected by a very kind woman. she took time to give us all touristic information. we felt welcomed.

i was very impressed with the hotel overall. it was great value for money and although i thought the location was a little far out, it was easily accessible by metro.The sheets could have been changed at least once during our 5 day stay. Miss MC Joseph
