Suite Gaudí Barcelona is a quiet place, located in a modern building, in the heart of the city, a few meters from Gaudí's famous buildings, Casa Milá (La Pedrera), Casa Batlló and Paseo de Gracia Boulevard, 15 minutes walking down to Plaza Catalunya and the famous Ramblas.
The hotel is located close to the famous bars and discotheques on the Aribau and Balmes streets and surrounded by restaurants, high designed shops and pubs. The hotel is at 50 meters of Diagonal and the Provenca Underground Stations, and a few meters from the Tourist Bus.
The hotel is situated in a building from the beginning of the 20th century, with all the comfort and modern services, a relaxing atmosphere and personalized attention. The hotel offers 17 large and fully equipped rooms.

I thought the lady who was there during the day time was very friendly and helpful. she made our stay excellent and could not do any more to help us. thank you Communication was poor. we asked for breakfast at 8am on day of departure but it did not come. we had to leave before although the lady on nights did offer to make us some but we had to leave. Situated near placa de catalunya (barcelona center), easy to be reached (renfe and metro stop "paseo de gratia"), enough silent (barcelona trafic is very noisy: take care about where a hotel is placed!), clean, well-organized and not expensive. what else do you want? Just one little negative thing: the bed was a little bit squeaking (room #2):well, nothing is perfect!Peter

We had an error made with our booking, and not only did they act to rectify it very promptly, but also offered us compensation for having made the error. the staff were veery helpful and friendly. one of them had very little english (and we had no spanish) but that really didn't cause much of a communication problem. the other had very good english. suite gaudi is in a good location close to all the main attractions of the city. i would have no hesitation in recommending it as a good place to stay.The shower recess was very small.Anonymous

We stayed there in april 08, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. the hotel was small,but the room size was ample and very clean and bright,breakfast was served to us in the room when we were ready which was nice to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. the staff were excellent and very pleasant,we wi definately be staying there again. The staff is very polite and helpful. tha lady in the reception knew only few words in english, but we have managed to get every information needed. suite gaudi is in perfect location - everything is so close: sagrada familia, gaudi`s buildings, la rambla... i have not used undeground service for my whole stay in barcelona!
the room: comfortable, clean, ideal for 2 people. bathroom was shared, but i never had to wait to use it. it was also very clean, with nice tub.
the breakfast: typical spanish meal: toasts, processed cheese, jam, tea, orange juice. you can order it straight to your room from 8:30 till 10:30 (as far as i remember).
very important: the hotel exists! some people had difficulties to find it. big doors, small sign on the wall under entry phone buttons.

Friendly hotel staff, excellent location - central and close to metro, but very peaceful. family-friendly - travel cot and use of(very small)kitchen with fridge and microwave, lift. travelling with a kid, we found having breakfast in the room very practical. as breakfast is included, we thought it was good value for money. we would definitely stay there again.Lights in room could be brighter and a few shelves or a cupboard in the bathroom would have been handy. there was a drinks/snacks menu in the room, but when we arrived, none of the things listed were available.Anonymous

The receptionist, carina, was pleasant and extremely helpful despite the language barrier. the room was very, very basic but adequate, with a great little balcony overlooking rambla catalalunya. the bathroom had new tiles and was very clean with smoking hot water :o). the location is excellent - the avenue by the front door leads straight to la rambla - (i was glad not to be living right in the rambla area.) great upmarket shops below the hotel. breakfast ( tea/coffee, juice and toast with processed cheese & jam was delivered to the room in the morning - don't forget to tell them when you want it!). hairdryer and washbasin provided in the twin room.The balcony door did not close tight - the room became fairly chilly in the early hours of the january mornings, and we had to request extra duvets - which were promptly provided. room maybe too basic for a business traveller.Anonymous

The hotel was nice, confortable and very well located. The only negative thing is that our room had a small window, so that the room was a litte bit too dark, but is not the same for the others rooms in the b&b i believe.Anonymous

Small but very friendly, they allow you to use their kitchenette, incl. microwave or the fridge, we could prepare our sandwiches for the day no problem; the location is excellent, rambla catalunya is slightly off centre, which made it a lot quieter than elsewhere, lots of eating places of all kindsThere were construction works with the railway/underground system going on which were carried on into the night (only a temporary problem), breakfast is served into the room, which is fine if you like this kind of thing, you hardly set eyes on who else shares the place with you, thouAnonymous

Das personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. die lage ist einfach unschlagbar, mitten auf der rambla de catalunya. sehr gute u-bahn anbindung. die haltestelle diagonal liegt schräg gegenüber. Je nach lage des zimmers kann es sehr laut sein. wir hatten ein zimmer mit waschbecken und gemeinsamem bad. was sehr gut war, nur dass bei jedem gebrauch des wasserhahns ein unglaubliches gebrumme losging. das war es aber auch schon. frühstück gibts im zimmer, da kein frühstücksraum vorhanden ist. kann man gut finden, oder auch nicht.Anonymous
