I booked several rooms at the hotel for a stag weekend, and as with this things had booked one room too many, i appreciated the 24 hour cancellation rule but spoke to reception who stated that i could cancel one room for the sunday night and was guaranteed that it would be done. when sunday came, however, i was informed by another, more bullish member of staff that i couldn't cancel with the hotel even though i had given 48 hours notice and the other member of staff had said it was okay as i should have cancelled through my booking agent. i have never come across this before with a hotel as it appears that they had shifted all responsibility for the rooms to yourselves. this left something of a bitter taste after what had been a great weekend in barcelona. i certainly won't be recommending the hotel to any of my friends or colleagues, which is unfortunate as it is a very nice hotel with the majority of the staff being friendly and polite. Hotel was excellent and free mini bar was much appreciated. it was a good ten minite walk from center of town, but still in a good location would definetly stay there again. staff very helpful Gavin Hingley

Nice hotel and helpful, friendly staff.
Just the fact that you can only get food and drinks at certain times of the day, an no room service offered at any time day or night. we had to eat at a near by 'kebab house' on the first night just because we were starving and it was the only place close by that was open! room was a little on the small side, and i think the hotel is over priced considering the location and unavailability of food/drink at certain times. Fantastic hotel, classy interior, very helpful and friendly staff, good location for main attractions.
Paid a higher price than quoted when booked through easytobook, which was alittle misleading, also safe in room was not working properly, and when mentioned to safe they tried to fix it but couldn't. apart from the would highly recommened it, great value for money.
