Confortel Barcelona is situated in the new technology development district. This modern area of Barcelona is near to the Olympic Port and very close to the city centre. It is very conveniently connected to the airport, and with the rest of the city by metro.

Excellent value for money. very modern hotel with well equipped rooms. 10 min leisurely walk to beach or metro for city centre, with some nice tapas bars along the way.
If there was a bar, we didn't find it. it would have been nice to have the option of a drink in hotel bar. (perhaps thats why they have free mini-bar?) Anonymous

really good hotel could not fault it. position for beach good. 20-25 minute stroll to la rambla and same in opposite direction to conference centre. area around it is being developed and looks a little poor but everyone very friendly and a lovely coffee shop, restaurant and fruit shop in the next road along which are very reasonably priced. we felt it was a good spot to be. road works around ramon turro meant even taxi driver went round 3 times before we got to hotel.Anonymous

Excellent hotel throughout, friendly & helpful staff, great location near the beach and about a 15 minute walk in to city centre, also just 5 or so munutes from a metro station. would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. another bonus is the free mini bar re-filled on a daily basis... very nice touch!Marisa Waterhouse

We had a very confortable stay the triple room was spacious and very clean. we did go up to the pool area on the roof in the evening which was nice , we did not eat in the hotel but went out for breakfast at the cafe's near by easy access to the metro was good and the beach was only 15 minutes away great! a good base if you plan to go out sight seeing all day .Would like to be able to have kettle in the room to make a cup of tea ,,,Anonymous

The hotel is very new and so as all the furniture and facilities. so thete was very comfortable clean feel to it. free mini bar was very useful. The location is a little far from central city area. there is a good metro service in barcelona, so some ppl find it ok, but i wish the hotel was little more close to the metro station. the area around the sation is still in need of development. very quite area. you'll be surprised the contrast between the hotel and it's sorroundings. the hotel looks 2010, but the area is still in the past...Anonymous

The hotel is modern and the double bed was a really good size and very comfortable. we liked the location. close to the beach and also the poble neu ramblas.There was no bar area as such and the area where drinks were served near reception was like an airport lounge. also bar prices were really expensive - our advice, go to a local bar - poble neu. the area close to the hotel was a bit limited for restaurants but for a short stay it was fine.Barnett

Friendly and helpful staff. very nice and clean rooms. we loved the free wifi and computers and mini bar. Location is a bit away from the main attractions but the beach is easily within walking distance and the underground is 4 blocks away. Anonymous
