Hotel Bel Art is a new 4 star hotel situated a few metres from the Sant Pau Hospital and the famous Sagrada Familia made by Gaudí and at 5 minutes by bus from the Parque Güell. It's perfectly connected with the principal motorways and the airport through Tunel de la Rovira. The Hotel is easy access to the centre of Barcelona (Plaza Cataluña) with the public transportation. The Bel Art Hotel is equipped with high level services to enjoy maximun comfort and relax. Sagrada Familia (0.9 km) - Designed by the famous but controversial architect Antoni Gaudi, this spectacular church is more of a cathedral and features on its three intricate facades the nativity, the passion and the glory of Christ, which is yet to be completed. Quite big room modest but with character; spacious, nicely done bathroom. generally i am satisfied with what i paid for.
Room was clean, but smelly from tobaco when we arrived. air conditioning was blowing hot during the day and cold at night. they are proud to offer free mini bar, but lack of kettle and tea bags was suprising at 4star. Anonymous

The hotel is a short walk from alfons x metro station which we used everyday througout our stay and helped us easily and cheaply get all around the city. short walking distance from sagrada familia too and near park guell. rooms cleaned everyday. staff were efficient and helpful throughout. would stay here again! free wireless internet in our room too!
Immediate area was not exciting and you needed to get the metro to find something interesting... Anonymous

Breakfast was wonderful and excellent value for money.
The rooms very spartan in appearance and did not resemble the pictures on your website. in my room there were no pictures, bed covers and other soft furnishing whiuch gave a rather spartan appearance. also in your website it would appear there were carpets or rugs on the floor and all we had was a brown lino floor covering. my husbands first impressions of the room were not good for a supposed 4 star hotel. however, we did have an enjoyable stay there. we also wanted to have cakes or something with a cup of tea in the late afternoon but these also were not available. Excellent location. 200m from alfons x metro and 5-10 minutes to the sagrada familia. the mini-bar was free and re-stocked each day with beers, soft drinks and water.
If not included in the room the breakfast was expensive (18 euros each) which was more than we would normally pay but it was a very good breakfast (or you could get croissants etc from the local bakeries) Steven Jack
