The Eurostars Angli Barcelona is a design hotel situated in the north area of Barcelona and is a great hotel choice. The architects and designers reached far into their imaginations and created a beautiful and amazing hotel that is also functional with every attention to detail. The pool and the small garden highlight the quietness of the zone in which the hotel is placed.
Guests of the Eurostars Angli Barcelona can cool off in the pool or relax in the tranquil garden. Five meeting rooms equipped with audio-visual facilities are available for business travelers. Staff of the Eurostars Angli Barcelona provides a 24-hour front desk and room service is available around the clock. Both open-air and covered parking facilities are available on site.
The hotel has just opened its ‘Cool Bites’ restaurant, a designer restaurant that completes and complements its modern facilities. It is an area bathed in sunlight, situated on the main floor of the hotel and decorated with striking motifs where one can sample dishes of the highest quality and originality. Great hotel, very interesting. had a swimming pool and terrace, complimentary drinks at weekend by pool. food menu is limited, but the food was excellent. free internet access point. small bar (never attended).
The level of attentiveness of staff was poor compared to a 2star hotel in tarragona we later stayed in. being greeted by a "back in 5mins" sign, didn't scream professionalism. this could be due to low staffing levels. restaurant was closed at the weekend, room service only with limited menu- burger, salad etc (we had a thunderstorm so we didn't fancy leaving the hotel). this is not to say i wouldn't recommend it to a friend. Based in a beautiful residential neighborhood. if you are interested in being more than a tourist, i highly recommend it. yes, it is far from the center, but the tourist bus does stop nearly and there are taxis, buses, the metro, and the train available at your disposition.
the room was unexpectedly clean and beautiful. i was highly impressed with the staff and would recommend it to any traveler not afraid of exploring the city and mingling with its residents. Do not eat at the restaurant - everything comes in miniature size with a puree to accompany it. for example, steak & potatoes = a small cut of veal which is smaller than the palm of a child's hand + potato puree underneath it, 18 euro; chocolate dessert with berries = mini pyramid shaped chocolate dessert with 2 berry puree lines, 8 euro. The hotel is very clean and looks fantastic. the staff where incredibly friendly and it was a joy to stay there. the rooms are modern and have some really nice features, like the electronic blinds. the location of the hotel is in a nice quite part of barcelona and is only 10 minute walk to the metro station and a further 10 minute on the tube to the centre of the city. highly recommend this hotel for anyone who would like a fresh and modern hotel. also when we got the bill it was cheaper than what the website had quoted! :)Nabil Sharif Camarero

One of the nicest and coolest hotels i've ever stayed at, and for an affordable price. i was in europe for 3 weeks in 4 different hotels and my wife and i could not stop raving about eurostars angli hotel. nicest rooms and best customer service of the entire trip. it was also in walking distance of a main metro line, which made it easy to see any part of barcelona. stay here if you get a chance.Mohammed K Faiz

Beautiful place! nice and clean, very modern. we where a bit vorried about the location, but the metro is 5-10 min walk away and it´s very easy to get in to the tourist areas. takes about 10 min on the metero. the area, sarria, is though very nice and clean. good small restaurants and cafés. we walked most of the time down town, takes about one hour. but it´s a nice walk :-)The shower was a bit special. when using the "massage" thing, the water leaked out over the floor. if you get the smookers room you should know they are on the first floor, so people walking by can look stright in to the big windows. The hotel was as described an designhotel, breakfast was good, bedroom was beautifull and we even had a nice view.The bathroom was not so great. we had problems taking a shower because the showerhead was not correctly installed. or the water was flowing against tha wall, or the water was flowing into the bathroom on the floor. we asked to fix it, but there was not a good solution.Anonymous
