Description
The 4* Superior GALLERY HOTEL is situated in Calle Rossellon 249, between Rambla de Cataluña and Paseo de Gracia, and it is in the financial, cultural and commercial centre of the city. The Paseo de Gracia permits you to attend to your business needs or enjoy a day shopping in the best and more luxurious boutiques of the city. The Plaza de Cataluña, las Ramblas or the Modernisme Route are only a few minutes walking from the hotel. And also the public transport are very close.
The hotel has 115 rooms of wich 5 are suites, all fully soundproofed and air-conditioned. The rooms are decorated in a contemporary style and have a working area and an elegantly finished marble bathroom. All rooms have telephone, fax, internet connection, safe deposit box, television, mini hi-fi and minibar.
The Gallery Hotel offers you free of charge the possibility of using our Sauna, Fitness Center and Solarium. We also invite you to take pleasure in using our Garden Terrace.

Staff friendly & helpful.room modern with flat screen tele, fax machine, cd player, safe (no charge), even a brolly. bathroom full of nik naks inc bathrobe & slippers. our room was at back of hotel (best position, as overlooked small park full of palm trees and small green parrots) hotel in great position for getting around. metro short walk away gets you around city in no time trains every 3 mins. we went to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, but would recommend to anyone who wants a decent quiet hotel in a good position with (polite friendly helpful staff it makes all the difference) 
Only negative comment is there was no tea or coffee tray provided (but this is probably a very british requirement) there are major major road works outside hotel looks like excavation for metro walkway dont think it will be finished anytime soon , but must stress it never affected our visit at all, so dont be put off.Anonymous

Fantastic hotel location helpful staff and clean modern rooms. i would recommend the hotel to anyone located just off placa de gracia and between there and las rambla catalunya (the upper las rambla above placa catalunya square). la pedrera the gaudi building is just round the corner and it is 2min walk from the metro station diagonal. there are road works going on outside but i never heard them once. excellent value i would go again definitely. I stayed on the top floor (5th) and you could hear the air con motors rumbling in the night.Anonymous

Hotel was very quiet and room was comfortable, with a good selection of "extras" including slippers and a bathrobe. desk staff were particularly helpful.Breakfast staff might have been a bit more cheerful. all hotels work breakfast in a different way so it would have been good to have been greeted on arrival in the restaurant and had the arrangements explained. two of them did smile eventually.Andrew Doyle

I have stayed at the gallery hotel for business before & liked the location. it is within walking distance of the main tourist areas & shops (passeig de gracia, casa mila, casa battlo & la sagrada familia), with some cafes nearby but far enough away from the noise of all the bars in the barri gotti. the staff are courteous & friendly and the hotel is clean. if you want a good base to see the city at a reasonable price this is it. it is a fair walk to the barri gotti, la ramblas & the harbour but possible & interesting. suitable for business travelllers or couples looking to explore the cultural side of the city.Miss Henson
