Located in the heart of the Eixample district in Barcelona, the hotel is close to some of the most important modernist buildings on Paseo de Gracia, like the Casa de les Punxes, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera and near the best shopping centres of the city.
How to reach the hotel?By airplane
From Barcelona-El Prat airport, take the train to the city center in the RENFE Station, and get off at the Plaça de Catalunya stop. Once there, take the blue or green underground line and get off at the Diagonal stop. The hotel is located 200 meters (656,16 feet) from the underground stop.
Another option could be taking a taxi from the airport's taxi stand. It ill cost you about €20,00 (take into consideration that the price can vary depending on the amount of luggage you are carrying).
By ferry
Walk to the underground station Drassanes, and take the green line and get off at the Diagonal stop. The hotel is at 200 meters (656,16 feet) from there.
You can also take a taxi from the port if you wish.

Good service/staff, clean room
Our room was onto a lightwell at the back which was disappointing we paid same price as the rooms on the front with balconies18 Mar 08

Not close enough to the city centre. advert was 'misleading'
The staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel very spoilt! the room, and the hotel generally, was spotlessly clean. loved the comfy leather armchairs in the room! i liked the bar area, very relaxing. a great location, easy to reach all the main sights of the city.

some concerns over hsse. lock on door to room was faulty (you could push door open even after locking it). problem reported to staff who were going to rectify.
fire exit stairway was blocked - also reported to hotel staff and rectified at the time.
