Description
Housed in a former hospital dating from past century, the Granados 83 has been converted into a hotel featuring the Nouveau Art Déco style. Its structure, made of rusted iron reminiscent of the old lofts in New York's Soho, contrasts with the stone and glass façade and the Zen-inspired interior design boasting premium minimalist elegance.
Opened on March 2006, the hotel as 77 rooms, several of which are split-levels, triple rooms and suites and some with terraces and sem-private swimming pools.
The hotel counts one restaurant and two bars, the "3", with a creative, Mediterranean cuisine with Asiatic touches and exit to the terrace, the "8", on the roof-deck and next to the swimming pool of the hotel, suitable to drink a cocktail and take some little snacks in the summertime, and the "G-Bar", a minimalist place to take some cocktails durig the whole year surrounded by design.

The Granados 83 is located in the middle of the city, just a few metres form Rambla de Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia and Avendia Diagonal, right in the heart of the business, shopping and tourist district. In the heart of the neighborhood "Eixample", the Hotel Granados 83 is ideally situated.
The luxury shops are all near and further along the Plaza Cataluña marks the beginning of the famous Ramblas.

There take underground L3 green line towards Zona universitària and step off at Sants Estació, where you have to switch to L5 blue line towards Horta. Get off at Diagonal stop and you will find the property only a few minutes walking from there.

Its a perfect, mid-priced boutique hotel, which provides a little luxury without being intrusive. the staff are very courteous.
