Grupotel Gravina Hotel is located in the heart of the city, in a quiet street 200 metres from Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya. This narrow and central street where the hotel is situated is also close to Universitat squares. Moreover, the structure is near the famous Zurich bar and the Triangle shopping center.
The property is a few steps from the Gothic quarter, the Cathedral, Passeig de Gràcia avenue and some important museums.
The hotel is walking distance from Barri Gotic, Macba, Pedrera, Ramblas, Casa Batllo, Catedral, Born, Port Vell and Eixample. And the area is very well connected with the other sites of interest of Barcelona by underground and bus, thus enabling guests to easily reach the Sagrada Familia, Güell park or Montjuïch.

From El Prat Barcelona airport
By car: from the airport to the hotel it takes 20 minutes by car. The best way is to enter Barcelona by the Ronda Litoral and exit at Drassanes. At Colón square turn towards Las Ramblas. Proceed along this avenue until Plaça Catalunya. The hotel is located in a narrow street close to Pelai street, the first left at the beginning of Las Ramblas.
By train: a convenient train service connects the airport with the main railway stations in around 20 minutes. Plaça Catalunya station is a five minutes walking distance of the hotel.
By bus: the Airbus line offers frequent connections from El Prat airport to Plaça Catalunya. The ride takes around 30 minutes.
From the Girona airport
By bus: A direct bus connecting the airport with the Barcelona center is available. Get off at Estació del Nord station, then take the underground line 1 until Plaça Catalunya station.
There are more than 30 bus lines, taxis, train from the airport going to Barcelona and there is a taxi stop close to the hotel.

The location was perfect. the staff were extremely helpful and spoke very good english. the breakfast was good, though pricey - we just took advantage of the half price breakfast on the first day.The phone system was not working properly so we all received wake up calls at 8.30am and then 9.30am even when we hadn't booked them. also, the air con didn't seem to work. not a huge issue in february but would be come summer time.Anonymous

L'hotel è molto bello e pulito, il personale gentile, la reception aperta 24h su 24 consente di arrivare a qualunque ora ed questa è stata una grossa comodità perchè siamo arrivati nel cuore della notte e non tutti gli hotel fornivano il servizio di check-in notturno.
posizionato in una zona centralissima e sicura, si può uscire senza timori a qualuque ora.
il prezzo della stanza con modalità "non refundable" 4 notti 2 persone 260 euro è stato veramente conveniente se raffrontato ad altri hotel di pari livello.
il bagno in camera molto comodo e ampio, con ampio ripiano in marmo, grande specchio a parete, vasca con cabina in vetro, wc, bidet e asciugacapelli. e tanti piccoli accessori usa e getta (pettine, cotone, fazzolettini, spugnetta pulisci scarpe etc)
all'arrivo si può usufruire di uno sconto del 50% su una prima colazione, in modo da poterla testare.
non abbiamo usufruito di questa opportunità, ma è possibile fare colazione tranquillamente in camera con prodotti acquistati all'esterno, perchè la stanza è munita di frigo e anche di caraffa elettrica che consente di scaldare acqua per preparare da sè le bevande calde.
nella hall ci sono 2 computer con connessione a internet utilizzabili 24h su 24.
il bar dell'hotel fa un ottimo caffè expresso.
non abbiamo avuto particolari problemi di rumori.
giustamente non si può fumare in camera, per questo un fumatore apprezzerà la presenza del balcone.
ampia porta finestra che rende la camera luminosa ed arieggiata.
posizione veramente strategica, centralissimo, vicino alla metro (che raramente è necessario prendere data la posizione che consente a un buon camminatore di raggiungere praticamente tutte le bellezze di barcellona a piedi), veramente a due passi dalla rambla e da piazza catalunya, dove si trovano taxi, autobus e bus turistico.

L'hotel est très bien situé.Le déjeuner que l'on s'est fait livrer dans la chambre est hors de prix pour ce qu'il y a. l'accueil est vraiment à améliorer, le sourire dans ce métier me semble indispensable. enfin, il faut malheureusement vérifier chambres et facture (l'hotel avait apparemment oublié de nous faire les 40% sur le déjeuner, la chambre était exigue, ce n'est pas du tout ce que nous avions eu 2 années auparavant, ils nous l'ont changé la 2è nuit).Anonymous

Ottimo il servizio, ambiente elegante e accogliente. il primo giorno la colazione è scontata del 40% ed è ricca e buona. la posizione dell'hotel è centrale, vicinissima a pl. catalunya.servizio internet gratis.La stanza prenotata su internet a noi assegnata, pulita e con ampio bagno, si trova in una ala nuova dell'hotel, ad un piano alto e soffocante. c'è un condizionatore efficiente, ma dormire con l'aria condizionata non certo è confortevole.Anonymous

Buona pulizia delle camere e cordialità del personaleLa camera non è assolutamente uguale alla foto sul sito. la camera dove abbiamo soggiornato e' infatti piccola, con il letto 1 piazza 1/2 e con un lato appoggiato al muro. caldo estremo nelle camere buie in quanto la finestra affaccia su un chiostrino. il prezzo pagato e' quindi di gran lunga superiore al servizio offerto. abbiamo immediatamente informato il personale dell'albergo che ci ha risposto che la foto sul sito corrisponde ad una camera superior con un prezzo ancora maggiore rispetto a quello pagato.Anonymous
