Description
The Hotel HCC Regente is a fabulous choice among many fine hotels in Barcelona. All the rooms at the HCC Regente are very modern, spacious and nicely decorated in soft colors. They have full cream marbled bathroom equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, safe deposit box, mini bar, telephone extension and hairdryer. The hotel breakfast restaurant is located on the first floor and provides an ample and select buffet breakfast. The restaurant at is exclusively for the use of conventions and groups, and caters for every kind of menu to meet the client's requirements. You can enjoy a sunny and relaxing time during summer season at the terrace - solarium with swimming pool from the top floor, with amazing views over the city.
This is an excellent location for individual travelers. The HCC Regente in the modernist building "Casa Evarist Juncosa " was built at the beginning of 1913. With a totally reformed interior and a restored original façade, it reopened its doors in March 1997, combining modernist details typical of the time with the most up-to-date hostelry. It is situated in the very heart of Barcelona's commercial and tourist area.

The views of barcelona from the terrace were excellent and worth staying there for that alone
The price for breakfast was very expensive. the room was meant to be a double but it was two singles pushed together which was rather uncomfortable if you wanted a cuddleCheryl Moulden

The location was wonderfulDuring our stay the power went out in our room. the hotel staff attempted, but failed to remedy this situation. only after a few hours did they offer us another room. the room had no view whatsoever (was an inside wall, might as well have had no window) and when i was checking out the hotel staff didn't mention it. as a result of their incompetence, i did not sleep (i was up for a few hours in the middle of the night while they goofed off attempting to look like they cared about getting us power) and did not feel that i was a valued customer. when i mentioned to the desk staff in the morning the problems, they were indignant and i had to really pressure to even get a 10% discount which was way less than adequate. if the staff were not so exceptionally poor, i would recommend the hotel. however, i will never stay at the hcc regente again.Anonymous

Good location close to lots of good restaurants and near enough to the main tourist areas without being in the main hub.Was given an internal room which had no natural light and was disorientating and depressing. the size of the rooftop pool pictured was also very misleading as it was tiny, although the view was great.Anonymous

Ottima posizione, comoda sia al centro storico che ai principali edifici costruiti da gaudì, a pochi passi dal passeig de gracia. cortesia da parte del personale dell'hotel. Camere (almeno al 4° piano), non da 4 stelle, piuttosto da 3, colazione troppo cara ( ma si può facilmente fare un'ottima colazione al vicino "el fornet" ovvero un forno bar.Anonymous
