Hostal Rio de Castro is a family-run hotel in the center of Barcelona, and is a completely renewed in 2007
We have 15 double rooms with bathroom, which means we are able to offer personalized service.
The hotel is just in the ‘Paral·lel’, an area with a lot of cultural activities to choose from (theatres, cinemas, etc.), and only 400 meters from the ‘Feria de Barcelona’, or Barcelona Trade Fair, which is the city’s most important conference and business center.
A ten minute walk will take you to the bus stop where you can go from the Plaza de Espanya to the airport, or the top of Montjüic where you can enjoy the beautiful views.
Our Hostal have services like wireless internet acces, Automatic Check-in 24h/7 machine. Acces to our Hostal by code number via keypads, hall, rooms and also with magnetic cards.
Its privileged position in Avda. Paral.lel is just a step away from the Plaza de España and
the trade fair site at Montjuïc, the city's Conference Centre and its port. Paral.lel is a
lively thoroughfare where you will find a choice of theatres and entertainment in the
vicinity.
The Hostal is well placed for the main through roads serving the city, well served by
public transport and only a few minutes away from the historic city centre.
