Hotel Icaria Barcelona is a unique hotel, different from many others in the area. Built in 2004, this conference hotel has a total of 180 rooms spread over 6 floors, of which 156 are double rooms and 24 are suites.
The hotel has a swimmingpool and a garden. By car: A 20-minute ride will take you from the airport to the hotel. The best way is to enter Barcelona through the Ronda Litoral. Take the exit at Sortida 22. The hotel is located on a parallel avenue called Icaria.
By train: A convenient train service connects the airport with the main railway stations in around 20 minutes. Get off at Plaça Catalunya station (cose to Plaça Urquinaona square). Continue by underground line 4 until reaching the Ciutadella-Vila Olímpica stop, which is located two minutes on foot from the hotel.
By bus: The Airbus line offers frequent connections from the airport to the city centre; get off at Plaça Catalunya and follow the before mentioned indications.
From the Girona airport:

Godd sized, clean rooms in modern hotal. restaurant food good for lunch and dinner (did not have breakfast). swimming pool and terrace area looked nice but it was raining so did not use.
