El Raval is a historic, cosmopolitan and traditionally poor neighborhood to the west of the Ramblas. Due to its prime central location and the city’s transformation over the past decade.
The Raval is a five-minute walk from the Ramblas, the Old Port and Montjuic Mountain, which is home to the Olympic stadium and exotic botanical gardens.
How to reach the hotel?( underground )
In Plaza Universidad, around the corner from the hotel, there is an underground station, where you can take lines 1 or 2, which connect you with whole city. The underground is open from 5 am to midnight (Sunday to Thursday) until 2 am (Friday, Saturday and eves of festivals /public holidays).
Bus
All buses pass through Plaza Catalunya ( 5 minutes from the hotel on foot). Buses run from 6 am to 11 pm and a single journey costs 1.15 Euros. You can also buy a T-10 card which gives you 10 journeys for 6.65 Euros.
Tourist Bus

The hotel was in an excellent location just off la ramble, it was very clean and the reception staff were brilliant, isabel and daniel had wonderful local knowledge of barcelona. would definatly stay here again.The only negative i have about the hotel is the breakfast. it was very expensive, 13 euros for adults and the same for children, the choice was poor and the cheese and hams looked dry and tired. we found a resturant on la ramble, le pomme, it was nearly half the price with more choice, it only charged 5 euros for children and 9 euros for adults.Laura Hall

The hungarian front desk clerk that is there in the late afternoon/early evening is excellent. very helpful and friendly. the rooms were well appointed and the bathroom was quite large for europe!The other front desk clerks are not so good - particularly the female clerk that is there in the mornings. she was annoyed when asked to do her job and didn't bother to even say "thank you" or even "good-bye" when we checked out of the hotel. extremely rude and lazy. also, we booked a triple room which as 3 real beds in the picture. in reality, we got 2 beds and a cot.Anonymous
