When we complaned they about the room they helpt us and gave us a new room , and reception was wery helpful about hove to get around and were to eat ... they agreed on shorter down the stay to 3 nights so we could change hotel.The room standard is far from a 3 star standard, the first room hade a very unplesent smel from some ploming defect,and the the cleaning staff allready know about the smell in that room but havn't told the front desk so we got that room. the next room was not smelly but also very dirty and hade som mold in the bathroom. and they did not refill the soap in 3 days forgot the tolett pappper and toke the old tovels but just gave us one and then the next day we hade 4 of them.Anonymous

It was central to where we wanted to go1. no ashtray in room.2 television in room only one english channel and that was eurosport and picture not great.3. we did not appreciate on 2nd day of our stay that we had to give extra money as the man at reception that checked us in said we had to pay vat we had understood that the price we were given was the price we had to pay that i had received by email you should make it clearer to people on email that vat will be charged on arrival Anonymous

Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. the room was very basic but clean. the hotel is extremely well siutated for la ramblas and the metro station. excellent cafe next door, as well as, a local spar. The hotel was noisy, in particular the walls were thin and you could hear other patrons using the toilet!Anonymous

Good location, comfortable beds, clean and comfortable over all with easy access to metro, pharmacy, cafe, bars,internet cafes etc. they stored our bags for us on the last day after we booked out, it felt safe and good impression overall.Breakfast was not included in the price, and was offered at 10euro which is expensive for spain, so i would recommend going to the bracafe around the corner on the main street. they do not have an internet computer either. on the booking form confirmation it should clarify if a deposit was taken from your credit card and how much is due to be paid on arrival as there was confusion concerning this with me and my friend and i could not check my credit card statements on line as i presumed i had been charged the full amount but it turned out i wasnt and had to pay in full on arrival. i got it clarified in the end but had to go to a local internet cafe to sort it out. our bedroom was on the corner of the hotel so it was a little noisy at night but im sure we could have asked for a different room but we were not too bothered, too tired at night to really care!Rob White

The location was great. close to the metro. close to the center.The walls of the rooms are wafer-thin. the corridors are very narrow, so when someone passes by it sounds like they are in the room (no joke!) the thing with barcelona is that some tourist stay "european hours" and some stay "barcelona hours" this means that people are passing by once or twice every hour 24-7. it was very hard to get any sleep at all, we tried sleeping different hours around the clock. we would not go back to this hotel again. the hotel is for young singles who don't intend sleep in their own hotel after the parties in barcelona!Anonymous

I did not have any.Alot - there was noise both nights to the point we did not sleep. the staff were rude. they were supposed to book a cab for 6:30 and a wake up call at 6am to which we got niether except a call at 6:40 asking if we wanted to book a cab - by then we missed our bus and had to spend 150 euros getting to the airport in a cab.
