The hotel was in a perfect location, right in the middle, so you walk out the hotel and right into the middle of everything. the room is sound proofed so you can't hear a thing from the busy street outside. bed very comfy. staff friendly.

The hotel was in a good location and it was clean.The hotel staff were deceiving. they did not inform us that for them to call for a cab they would charge an extra 6eu when we could have hailed one right outside their front door. they should have informed us that to request a cab, it would cost an extra 6eu. i do not like to be deceived and would not recommend this hotel to anyone for that reason alone!Anonymous

Great location providing easy walking access to a number of interesting locations, restaurants and shops. very close to the red/blue bus tours but you needed to be there early to avoid the queues. these tours presented excellant value for money and allowed us to take in most of the sites. the hotel room was very modern, overlooked la rambla and as promised it was very nearly soundproofed, apart from the occasional emergency vehicle. the room presented a great place to people watch at all times of the day and night. Disappointed the restaurant wasn't actually part of the hotel, although it had an adjoining door, most people using the restaurant walked in from the street access. had the buffet breakfast there one morning, this was not included in the hotel tariff and we decided it didn't represent good value to us because we are not big eaters. if you like buffet type breakfasts then for a city establishment, the price wasn't too bad. it was used by lots of people for breakfast obviously staying elsewhere. only had a very small lounge type area within the reception and a self service bar with limited drink options.Armstrong

The location was excellent and we very much appreciated the fact that the room was cleaned late evening at our request after i had been ill most of the day with migraine.We would have liked a bar in the hotel. it was not very pleasant having a drink at night in the restaurant downstairs. also it would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.Mrs Dawn Jowitt

The hotel is in a perfect position, right on the main tourist avenue and centrally located for all tourist attreactions.Not really a negative - but i would expect tea and coffee facilities in a 4 * hotel. however we read previous reviews so took our own kettle so could wake up in the mornings, open the large panoramic windows overlooking la rambla and take in the atmosphere whilst enjoying a cup of coffee.Anonymous

Clean, modern, centrally placed, within easy walking distance of the gothic quarter attractions. 10mins walk to the beach. metro station 2 mins walk which connects to all of barcelona's regions, making it easy to reach all of the 'have to see' areas/attractions.Nothing wrong with the hotel at all, make sure that your windows are fully shut! they have a sensor which will not allow the air-con to work if they are even slightly ajar.Anonymous
