The Miami Pension Barcelona Hotel is situated in the heart of the old city of Barcelona, the Pension Miami Hotel in Barcelona is very close to various points of interest such as Plaça Catalunya, Las Ramblas, Barri Gòtic, Port Vell and the Fira de Barcelona, the conventions and congresses center of the city. This is a great budget hotel as you get a good room for a low, reasonable price. Barcelona’s Miami Pension may not be the first choice for a family or anyone traveling with small children due to the activity of the surrounding area of the hotel.

The rooms were very clean!
The only negative thing - was the absence of condition system
even in june as it was too difficult to sleep at night and people shouted each night in the street.Anonymous

The rooms were cleanThe phone service wasnt working and i wasnt allowed to accept a call at reception. their aircon doesnt work - it is put on in the summer if its hot enough - we were three people in a room with the windows closed for the noise it was incredibly difficult to sleep and they didnt care. the first room we were in you had to sit on the toilet sideways teh bathroom was so small. the staff were unhelpful and didnt care about our comfort or arranging to meet our friend who was staying at the same hotel !! also you have to pay when you arrive.Anonymous

Good basic accommodation that is just off a main street (no need to worry about wandering about looking for you hotel in the narrow alleyways), only 5 minutes walk from the centre of the city and a great base for getting around the city.
the accommodation itself was basic but the rooms were clean and the towels are changed daily. reception staff very helpful.
the local area has a good mix of modern and traditional bars and restaurants and is quite lively but not too noisy.
Some people may be a bit worried about the working girls looking for business at the entrance to the street after midnight – not that they bothered us!!! Sammis C S Tse

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the beds and towels were cleaned and changed everyday. it was very secure.It could get noisey as the walls are thin and its in a central location but it was never really that disruptive.Anonymous

The hotel was very clean and was in a fairly good position to see the sights of barcelona. with the exception of the checking in the staff were very helpful and polite. I was part of a group of 21 people staying in the hotel all booked under my name. it took 90 minutes to check in. the was one member of staff behind the desk and firstly he collected a €20 deposit from everyone, then for each person, scanned their passport, typed in some information from their passport, typed in some more information, finally from a very slow printer, printed something for them to sign. he would not give out any keys until everyone had signed the form. it was very frustrating. i wouldn't recommend this hotel if there was more than 4 of you and if there is, book under individual rooms so you can get you keys without having to wait for everyone else. A good hotel if your looking for a bed for the night,close to the ramblers.a fair price for a hotel in the area.When they say the rooms are small .!!!!
