Description
Old Town Apartments is an international, apartment company offering comfortable, spacious apartments in the city center in several countries. We have multilingual staff, which are always on hand to help with your comfort and personal enquires. Our properties are good value for money and are close walking distance to most tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping and drinking establishments. All you have to do is lie back, relax and enjoy this fantastic alternative to a stuffy hotel! Let us do the work for you.
*Please note we have apartments all over the city center and they are not located in the same building. On arrival you need to come to the office to pick up the keys and the map with directions to your apartment.*
We meet all our guests at our Office at Ronda Universitat, number 20, 3rd floor, 3rd door. If the door downstairs is closed, ring bell 3o - 3a. 2. If you arrive between 9 and 20h Mon-Fr and 9 and 18h on weekends make your way to our office.3. If you arrive outside office hours and on holidays please call 30 minutes before reaching our office at the telephone indicated in your booking confirmation (If you land in GIRONA or REUS airport, please call us only once you have reached Barcelona.) - Arrivals between 23:00 - 1:00 will be charged an extra 25 euro, past 1:00 - 40 Euro, after 3:00 - check-in only upon earlier arrangements.
. 4. During your check in you:
a) fill in our guest form,
b) facilitate the payment
c) provide us with your credit card details OR leave a cash deposit of 150 euro to cover any possible damage that might be incurred to the apartment or its contents during your stay. In case you choose to leave a deposit, it is refunded after check-out, once the apartment has been proved free of damage.
- Groups of 6 or more will be charged a security deposit of 50 euro/person
d) receive your keys and a map with instructions on how to get to your apartment.
5. If you arrive before 13h and your apartment has not yet been prepared, you will be able to leave your luggage in the office and come back for it and for the keys later on.
Please note that for a booking of more than 3000 euros, you will have to pay a deposit.

The apartments are conveniently situated in key areas of the city; close to areas of historical, cultural and commercial interest and also near restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Please note we have apartments all over the city center and they are not located in the same building. On arrival you need to come to the office to pick up the keys and the map with directions to your apartment.
Taking a taxi from the airport will be the most convenient form of getting to our office. If you prefer public transport: You can take a bus (AEROBUS) at the airport exit, which will take you to Pl de Catalunya in 25 minutes. You can also take a train to Pl de Catalunya (15 minutes). To reach the station from the airport you will have to walk along a tunnel above the street. Once you are in Pl. Catalunya, please use the above map to find the street Ronda Universitat, which is located at the top of Pl. de Cataluyna on the left hand side. Follow this road for one minute on the left hand side until you get to building number 20. Arriving from Girona airport: The bus will leave you at the (Bus Station) Estació del Nord in Barcelona. Make your way to the metro at Arc de Triomf, go two stops on the red line to ‘Pl de Catalunya’. Get out at the Ronda Universitat exit and turn left into the street Ronda Universitat. Our office is just 1 min walk away, Ronda Universitat number 20, 3rd floor, 3rd door.
Please note that bookings for 6 nights or more, the apartments will be charge the 50% of the total amount (non refundable)

Apartment exceeded expectations, roomy, well furnished, quiet, secure, spotlessly clean,all facilities.
Could have done with more air conditioning, there was only one unit for a very large apartment. the description on the web site led you to believe it was closer to the centre than it actually was. it was a long walk to get to the tube or the ramblas.Anonymous

We enjoyed being in our large apartment, it was spacious and airy, and at the back of the block,peasceful, looking over a large square. we loved the glass covered balcony. the air con would be a boom in summer.the apartment which was in the road of consell de cent, barcelona,was right on the doorstep of the gaudi pavement and gaudi lamposts. very central to placa de cataluyna, which made it easy for transport, and visiting the sights. This apartment was just steps from las ramblas, but surprisingly quiet once inside the building. excellent place. better than staying at a hotel. the apartment was nicely furnished, very ikea. it was next to plaza catalunya, which has the tourist information and the hop on, hop off bus. i highly recommend old town apartments when visiting this beautiful city of barcelona. Very clean and tidy, excellent location,Picking up the keys, five in our party 2 went upstairs for keys lobby attentant asked others to wait outside not a friendly start. instructions once inside building not very clear. thought we had paid when we booked however we had to pay when we arrived , luckily i had brought original credit card and exchange rate really changed from booking. misguided on website as appartment not were position stated as office was there, also taxi booked thru them for return visit nearly missed flight as girona was the airport we wanted and we showed represantative flight detailsMr Paul Oakley

It was everything i expected and more. its perfect if you're travelling with friends and want a place a bit more communal than a hotel. the rooms were nice, the living room was exactly as show on the website. the apartment had everything! it even had a folder with the best hotels, bars, museums and restaurants reviewed for you. the staff were also very friendly and understanding. by far the best place i have stayed...will definetly use them again. it even had one conversion adapter in case you forgot one. hotels do not usually supply this.There were not any negatives really, perhaps a few more conversion plugs but thats it.Anonymous
