The Praktik offers comfortably furnished soundproof guests rooms with washbasin, and large and comfortable beds. There is no wardrobe but a shelf and hangers to save up space. Also there is no tv in the room, but Barcelona is better to see. Rooms do not have telephones, but there is a public one available 24 hours a day in the front desk.

Would recommend this hotel highly. the beds were massive and the shower powerful. the staff were helpful and friendly...what would make it even better value would be to have breakfast in the lounge area or on the terrace.Drazena Badanjak

The hotel is simple and in a greta location. the mix of old and new in the rooms is great. they've spent the money on the beds and showers and saved on the lack of wardrobes.
Make sure you have your air con control and tv remote. we had neither on the first night and unless you check in mid week it is very difficult to get help.Anonymous

Staff very helpful.room a good standard once we changed rooms.good facilities i.e lockers for leaving luggage on last day of stay.loved the white bed linen.felt secure.good internet facilities.fabulous shower.plenty of smoke detectors so definitely not a fire trap.we both would definitely go back to this hotel,at this price 86 eurosInitially the room we was offered hadn't been cleaned.the corridors on the upper floors are like a maze so i'd advise studying an escape route in an emergency.Mr Jeff Saunders

The room was fine for our needs,it had a brilliant shower and was quite cleanWe stayed for 2 seperate nights before and after a cruise. the first night we were in a room facing the road and i hardly slept as the road noise was very loud. i asked when we returned from the cruise for our second visit to be in a room facing away from the road, but we were still put in a room facing the road. we then had to ask to be moved which they did and we the new room was brill.Yeo

The hotel provided exactly what it said it would - a small clean room which is very basic, a large comfortable bed, good shower. a nice surprise was the addition of a television. the cheap price is good and is obtained through the simple, minimal provision which is nonetheless of high quality. so, it is cheap but not at all shabby. Clean room and shower room which was cleaned everyday. staff were helpful. the lounge was pleasant, and free internet access useful. noise level was fairly low - better than expected for a city location. easy to walk or catch a metro to all the main attractions of the city and plenty of places to eat nearby.Anonymous

I booked three rooms for myself & friends feed back was very positive. good location & a very fair price.Of the three rooms i booked, two had balcony views & feedback was very possitive but unfortunately my room didn't, our view was of a wall next door. luck of the draw i guess.Shaun Procter

The corridors were very dark and the lift small but the rooms themselves (or at least the one i had) was very bright and clean, had recewntly been fitted out (inc. new bathroom) and lcd tv. also if you arrive early they have lockers (limited number) so you can leave your suitcase(s) semi secure.NoTeresa Young

Great location and room was clean, bed was comfortable and towels were huge. second night we requested to be moved to a room off the main street and the room had a balcony and was very quiet. staff was very helpful.
First night we were in a room facing the street on the first floor and the crowd from the restaurant across the street was very loud around 1:30am when the restaurant closed. need to have more hanging options for clothes and towels. internet was down most of the time we were there. easytobook map is wrong on location of hotel!!!Anonymous

Exactly as expected re web site discription. clean, basic rooms, helpful staff. a bit of a mix up on arrival, due to a single room being allocated, this was rectified next morning. our request for a room with balcony was granted. huge bed, and morning sunshine through the shutters. wonderful!take a travel kettle if you like your morning cuppa, or pop across the road for fresh ( very strong ) coffee. vending machine coffee not recommended. i wouldn't hesitate to book again on my next visit to barcelona.The rooms with balcony's face the street which is very noisy, even throughout the night, refuse is collected at about 3am !!!!! we loved the hustle and bustle, but be warned if you prefer a quiet night.Anonymous
