The amazing Princesa Sofia Gran Hotel in Barcelona has an astounding 500 rooms to serve you but don’t let the large size fool you. This hotel takes every step to ensure you have a nice, comfortable stay while in Barcelona. Each of the rooms is full stocked with all you need and expect from a great hotel stay. The hotel also provides indoor and outdoor pool, on-site fitness, sauna and whirlpool and business services. The hotel is a modern high rise building and looks very nice from the outside but step inside and you will see why it really shines. The lobby is spaciously decorated with white marble floor and tasteful dark wooden contemporary furniture.

i booked my father and mother for a trip to barcelona for my mums birthsay. the staff could not have been nicer to my folks for their stay. the staff looked after them very well, my mum had champagne and a cake left in her room for the first night. the weelness centre was excellent, the facilities were top grade. although a little expensive, my parents were treated like vips and really enjoyed their stay. i would have absolutely no hesitation at reecommending this hotel, which, in my estimation, is one of the finest.NoAnonymous

- definitely better than 4-star, but not deluxe hotel
- cheaper than alternatives at late notice
- well appointed room, not too far from town centre
- they left cava & cake in my room on my birthday, which was a very nice touch!- they charge eur 12 per person per day to use the pool!!! seems a bit cheeky to advertise it then charge extra.

We were in a club room and had access to the vip lounge area which was fantastic.Only issue we had was we requested breakfast in our room and we were charged the full breakfast amount even though we were on a bed and breakfast tarriff. normally you pay a slight charge to have your breakfast in your room but we did ont think for one minute that we would be charged the full amount of the breakfast.AM Ackerman
