How to reach the hotel?BY CAR (From France/Girona)
Take the A7 and then the C33 into Barcelona. You will enter the city by Avinguda Meridiana (C58/C17). In around 1 km you must take the Ronda Dalt (B20) until you reach the exit number 6 (carrer d´Estebe Terrades) and then Avinguda Hospital Militar. In around 550m on the right you will find Ballester Street and the hotel.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
- From the Airport
The best way to get here is to first go to Plaça Cataluña; you can either take the bus (Aerobus) or the train. From there, take the metro line 3 (green) to LESSEPS station. This line will bring you straight here in only four stops. The hotel is about 400m away from Lesseps Square, walk up the Avinguda República Argentina and take the second street on the right.

All the hotel staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful, especially on giving us extra info about the surrounding area. the reception staff spoke excellent english and we managed to get by with our pigeon spanish when talking with the cleaning staff.
location was excellent, short walk to parc guell and to the underground, which in 4 stops you find yourself inthe centre of barcelona.
bathroom and room were immaculately clean and very spacious.
Unfortunately the spa bath wasn't working.
also...the site says that no money will be taken from the credit card you use to book with until you get to the hotel, this is a lie as the money was taken straight away on booking.Anonymous

The hotel was very well situated, away from the center noise, but close to the metro, so it was easy to get around.The service at the hotel was very bad, we asked for extra blankets because it was rather cold at night. the hotel never responded to our request. the one thing that stands clear to me about this hotel is, that i'm sure that the hotel tried to steal our entrance tickets to the football game sunday night. we had to threaten the staff to get the tickets saying that we would call the police and that we wanted to talk to the manager of the hotel. after 3 minutes and 4 phone calls made by the receptionist to "colleagues", two suspicious girls showed up with our tickets todays after the agency actually delivered the tickets to the hotel. The hotel was centrally located and close to facilities such as cafes and supermarkets, train station and walking distance to park guell.I have stayed 3 nights at the hotel and had to pay 24 euros/night for car parking at the hotel which was not explained at the hotel web page. there was a lot of traffic noise as well as construction noise coming from next door where construction vehicles were used. the air conditioner did not work properly and it was very cold sleeping the first night, where we did not have any blankets. the maids who cleaned the rooms did not know any english and the maid came to clean the room at 8.00pm and wanted us to be out of the room for about an hour, which was an inconvenience. overall it wasn't what we expected for the price we have paid for.Anonymous

Nice studenty location, good for fast access to centre. very clean and decent-sized rooms, if a bit characterless. one very helpful receptionist. nice to have bidet.A little noisy from the adjacent building site. not all the facilities worked. we had six rooms and struggled with opening wardrobes, operating shower, operating jacuzzi, hair dryer and internet during our visit.Slawomir Kowalik

parking garage was essential to our stay.
easy access to metro was appreciated.1) i asked the night staff if there was a charge for using the phone to call a toll free number. they said no charge. the next morning i learned of a charge of 5.70 euro for my 4 attempts to place a phone call, none of which were successful. i explained my concern to the clerk, but she said there was nothing she could do to waive the charges. in other hotels there is a clearly stated policy on the phone in the room about phone charges. i found nothing in writing by the phone.
2) we had rooms on the second floor, south side. the traffic noise made it hard for us to sleep.
