The Zenit Borrell is a modern 4 star establishment opened in 2004. Located in Barcelona’s business center (Calle Comte Borrell, corner Calle Mallorca), near Avenida Roma, very close to Universidad Industrial, Mercado del Ninot and Avenida Diagonal, Zenit Borrell holds an impeccable image in all 74 rooms and common areas. It’s a building of a very modern design that adds up to a complete technological equipment and service. Private parking is available at the hotel as well.
All the rooms of the Zenit Borrell are equipped with heating and air-conditioning, mini safe, mini bar, direct dial phone, Wireless Internet access and satellite TV. At only 2 kilometers from Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas and Paseo de Gracia, Zenit Borrell Barcelona is in a prime location in the city of Barcelona. The hotel is 500mt from the Barcelona main Station and 2 km from Monjuic Park, Olimpic Stadium "Palau St. Jordi". Some places to visit near Zenit Borrell Barcelona are Parque Guell, Sagrada Familia and Olympic Harbor. There are also pubs, restaurants and more. There is a direct train that connects the airport with the Barcelona center. Guests can take a public bus to Comte Borrell Street or Sants district.

By train: The Sants train station is located 5 minutes from the hotel, and it links with the airport. There is a frequent train service connecting the airport with Barcelona's main railway stations. The ride takes 20 minutes and the nearest station to the hotel is Sants. Once there, you can reach the hotel in just 5 minutes with any bus leading to Comte Borrell street.
By bus: The Airbus is a bus that links the airport to the city center and stops at Sants train station. The Aerobus shuttle connects the airport with the city centre in around 20 minutes.
By car:
The Barcelona-El Prat airport is around 20 minutes by car from the hotel. Entering Barcelona from the A7 highway take the Diagonal avenue and proceed until you reach Plaça Francesc Macià square. Cross the square and continue on the Diagonal until Villarroel street. Turn right in Villarroel street and go 7 blocks to Mallorca street. Proceed for 2 blocks on Mallorca street and then turn right in Comte Borrell, where the hotel is located. Alternatively, you can reach the hotel by taxi.
From the Girona airport you can reach the hotel by taxi or the express train service which connects the airport with the centre of Barcelona. A direct bus leading to Comte Borrell street or Sants district is also available.

Beware - the food is typical catalan. we were on half board but could not stomach most of the food on offer. in fact we ate out on the second night because the menu was the same and there was nothing we liked. we asked for some explanations of the menu but staff did not speak english (that's not a criticism!).continental breakfast was however ok. for the price paid it was not the experience we had expected and in hindsight wish we had booked a 3* in a more convenient location for similar or cheaper price.Richard Copping

This was a clean, well organised, friendly hotel. the food was lovely, portions were not huge but there were 3 courses which was plenty.Apparently easy to book had messed up the booking and the hotel were alittle unsure if we were coming fortunately the receptionist held the room open and although we did not arrive until 10pm the room was ours.this had happened to a few people Anonymous

The hotel was clean and modern. the rooms were good if a little on the small side. overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, definately value for money. Only complaint i have is that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. mini bar quite pricey, avoid if possible. Anonymous

The cleaning of the room was very good. every 2 days new bedcloth. On the room no glas in the bathroom, only plastic cups. in the restaurant/lobby no clean glases. the waiter spoke only a little bit englisch, there was no overview about the bufett, some things came late, some directly, but there were still frindly. :)Anonymous

El hotel esta bastante bien en cuanto a su ubicacion y a las instalaciones en general.Yo iba con una habitacion romantica y habia solicitado que en lugar de cena fuera comida, hasta ahi todo aceptable, pero la mala comunicacion entre el personal y la mala informacion hacia los clientes hicieron que tuviera que comer el dia de marchar en lugar de el dia de llegada, por que ni en recepcion ni en el comedor supieron darnos una buena informacion, porque nadie sabia nada.YOLANDA AGUERA LOPEZ
