"The room was large and pleasantly decorated"

Pros: The room was large and pleasantly decorated
Cons: The kettle was broken. i reported it to reception and they said they would provide a replacement. after 1 hour they had not, so i took the kettle to reception myself and was told that they did not have a spare kettle. they said they were fully booked and could not get another kettle from anywhere. they said i should ring room service every time i wanted a cup of hot water. this is not acceptable service and looking at the breakfast room the next morning, i do not believe the hotel was full. the attitude of reception was extremely dismissive.
