 "Does the job"
I needed to be in this part of Brusssels for work and so chose Hotel du Congres. This time I got a small room! The variation in room size, location means this hotel is a bit of a lottery . If you can live with that then it's a quirky place...and yes poor wifi strength as others have said.

"ok hotel quite close to center"
Mostly selected it because it was my first hotel in Brussels a very long time ago. Bedroom's ceiling looked like a Louvre one (the building used to belong to some rich guy), and the room featured a (non-functional) marble chimney. An "all plastic" bathroom has been retrofitted in a corner, but larger than first class compartment train bathrooms. Lack of private car parking space, but it was easy to park just in front of the hotel (free sat&sunday). Burned a finger trying to move a bedside lamp which was all metallic and unprotected.

 "reasonable value for reasonable money"
The hotel is just outside citycentre, but within walking distance. (15-20 mins)Hotel is clean, our room very basic, but ok, however situated on streetside, causing noise at night.Staff is friendly, speaking French, Dutch and English.Main problem is parking : NO facilities. Max duration on street is 3 hrs, or a fine of 25€....per half day....
