The kids (and adults) will just love the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels, Belgium. Home to some of the most interesting dinosaurs that ever walked the earth. This museum is a blast from the past. It also gives a very thorough overview of life in Belgium. Some of the major rooms in the Museum of Natural Sciences have been redone to give those touring the collections there a better presentation and a more interactive chance to see the displays.
THE major attraction at the Museum of Natural Sciences is the superb collection of Iguanodons – dubbed the Iguanodons of Bernissart. Iguanodons belong to a group of dinosaurs known as ornithopods, which roamed the Earth from approximately 230 million years ago until the mass dinosaur extinction, which took place 65 million years ago. This exhibit is a display of 18 dinosaur skeletons found in the village of Bernissart in southern Belgium. What is really neat is that with this exhibit you get a series of animated dinosaurs that move and make sounds when a button is pushed.
