Mouscron Hotels and Accommodation

The city of Mouscron is located in the province of Hainaut in western Belgium, along the border with France. Due to the proximity of the border, most of Mouscron’s residents speak French. Mouscron’s most famous landmark is the medieval Château des Comtes, formerly home to the Counts of Mouscron. Though the existence of a castle here may date from the 13th Century, the oldest parts of today’s castle were built in the 15th Century. Other points of interest in Mouscron include the elaborate City Hall and the church of Dottignies, which features a copper hand atop its steeple. The hand has its own festival, the Fête de la Main, every September.
