The location of this hotel is outstanding. It's a short walk from the parking at the trainstation and an even shorter walk to dead-centre Bruges.Our room was on the top floor with a beautiful old and authentic ceiling. Lights were pointed up at the ceiling to light the wooden beams at night. Unfortunately, those same lights kept blinking once turned off. Because of our baby that slept in the (provided) crib in the middle of the room, we couldn't turn the lights off without driving him crazy. We covered the crib and slept with the lights on. After reporting this the next morning, nothing was done to fix it for our second night. The staff was overall friendly, but a little unfamiliar with the hotel, probably due to the start of the season. Breakfast was nice, served in the downstairs bar. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you're just looking for a nice place to sleep and spend your days exploring beautiful Bruges. But check the lights when you check-in to your room!
