Bruges main railway station is the biggest railway station in Bruges and also one of the busiest railway stations in Belgium. Being one of the busiest it is able to offer travelers many convenient methods of payment for travel, from Bancontact to Proton and from American Express to Eurocard and many other cards in-between. Also available at the station for weary travelers just arriving and wanting to get to their destinations are taxis, buses, a restaurant for a bite to eat and a refreshment bar. If you are waiting for your train and have some spare time to explore the station or the town, you can stow your bags in automatic luggage lockers or take advantage of staffed left-luggage service. The Bruges main railway station is open from 06:00 to 21:30 daily.

If you happen to have difficulty traveling, this station does provide personnel for the care of mobility-impaired passengers who are on duty from 06:00 to 22:00 daily. There are also 4 parking spaces on hand for those with impairments. Parking actually isn't a problem at this station as there are 445 spaces available at the nearby Municipal Car Park, with another 164 spots at the station itself and yet a further 1,600 at another car park within walking distance of the Bruges main railway station.
