Cons: Take earplugs!! lots of barking dogs at night & some plane noise. only real bad point though.

Pros: The hotel was very nice, clean and very well furnished (in a modern way... also the bathroom was really big, that is strange for a hotel), the position was good, 'cause s. teresa is a residential area very quite and mostly quite safe in comparison to the other areas in rio the janeiro. another very good thing was the breakfast with many fresh items all the morning, with particular attention to all types of tropical fruits.
Cons: There were just few negative things:
1) bill and sua, the owners of the hotel, were two very special persons, nica and very helpful, the only problem s that they know very little about rio.. so they are not the right persons to give suggestions;
2) during the day, if you are hangry, the hotel doesn't offer you anything neaither two peanuts for the aperitiv or two small chocolates;
3) the position of the hotel was nice but the problem is that it is quite distant to all the attractions in rio and, not only the taxis are expensive but if it is raining it takes a long time to reach the hotel and not all the taxis are willing to take you there.

Stay at the 3-star Um Meia Tres for the best Rio de Janeiro experience. If you like exploring the city on foot, this location is an excellent choice, as Museum Chacara do Ceu and Sambódromo da Marquês de Sapucaí can both be walked to from here. This hotel is close by Santos Dumont Airport.
