"Great Hotel but....."

Great hotel... We really enjoyed our stay here... Clean... Comfortable.. Great breakfast and excellent service... BUT .. be aware folks that they pre authorise your credit card for Full Amount on arrival and when you check out they charge you again but leave original block on your credit card... In my case ....after a week ...the original block still on and I'm without access to those funds... I tried ringing hotel but they didn't pick up... I emailed them and after 3 days still have no reply or assurance from them... I think this block should be lifted after 10 working days... But it's a messy way of doing business and I'm annoyed my money is not available to me as I'm travelling... Be aware :)

Cons: I was told i could not bring my girlfriend into the hotel unless i booked her in from the start! i assumed i would just pay extra to cover the cost of 2 people, but i was told it was not possible!
there was no information on the website that this would happen.
this was very bad.

would like a healthier breakfast! natural granola, yoghurt, boiled or poached eggs, better bread selection
