"The hotel staff were great"

Pros: The hotel staff were great. very helpful, very polite and spoke good english. the porters were always on hand and ready and waiting to help.
amnenties in the bathroom were fab and also room service was quick and efficient.
the hotel is situated not far from the main beach so a nice walk in the sun and very close to the supermarket and markets.
Cons: The rooms are not sound proofed, therefore i heard everything in neighbouring rooms and also people coming home at all hours of the night/morning which was disruptive.
my hotel view backed onto a large wall and the back of someones property so not a pleasant site or the opportunity to open my curtains.
and the maintenance staff do not speak english so it pays to know portugese and also to keep your door locked as i had someone try to enter my room.
