The facilities were modern, clean, and very nice. The location was excellent, very close to the city center, close to many sight seeing opportunities, and a block away from a shopping center with a clean and modern grocery store. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out, but the most stand out aspect was the staff. The front desk staff and the bell-boys were incredibly helpful and sweet in nature. English was well spoken, and they all went out of their ways to help with directions or suggestions throughout the city. Additionally I was unfortunate to have my electronic adapter and converter removed from my luggage during travel, and the hotel staff went above and beyond expectation finding one and allowing me to use it during my stay! I was so greatful and so appreciate of their kindness in the gesture and each day of my visiit, they were always so pleasant. Also to note, the independent driver the hotel offers as a airport shuttle also went above and beyond my expectations in kindness. He took his time showing me by car around the city, was welcoming, and extended his services if needed for the weekend. He was knowledgeable and helpful resource as well. As a young, female, solo traveler the Hotel Arte and staff made all of my apprehension about this trip and the stay in Bulgaria go away. It was a lovely experience and upon visiting again I will surely stay at Hotel Arte again. I would also highly recommend it to any visitors to Sofia!
Providing an excellent level of accommodation, Arte Hotel has 3 stars. The proximity of this location to attractions including Sofia Synagogue and Archaeological Museum makes it a great choice. It is almost strange not to pay a visit to St. Nedelya Church when you stay here. It is 0.3 km (0.2 miles) away and guarantees some nice pictures. Vasil Levski National Stadium, near this accommodation, is worth a short visit. National Palace of Culture is easily accessible.
