Saints Cyril and Methodius National Library Sofia

Saints Cyril and Methodius National Library in Sofia, Bulgaria, has been the officially appointed national library since 1881 and boasts a number of unique collections. Among them: Eastern and Greek Scriptures from between the 11th to the 19th centuries; more than 1½ million documents relating to Bulgarian history in the last few hundred years; and around 80,000 old prints and photographs. The Library is close to such places as Sofia University (also known as St. Clement of Ohrid University of Sofia), St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and the National Gallery for Foreign Art.
