The Museum of Military History in Sofia houses an immense collection of more than 1 million artifacts relating to Bulgarian and European history. Anything from 18th century pistols, to an SS-23 nuclear missile, to flags and uniforms from various times in Bulgaria's history can be found here. The Museum is open from 10 am to 6 pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Some other sights to be sure to see in the city of Sofia include the Ethnographic Museum, the Earth and Man National Museum, and the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.

The Museum is located a little ways out from central Sofia, closer to Vasil Levski National Stadium. Varna has a lot to offer when it comes to culture.
