Asparuhov Most, translated Asparuhovo Bridge in English, is the span over the two canals connecting Lake Varna to the Black Sea. Approximately 2 kilometers long, the bridge is best known for the section that runs 52 meters high over the newer, man-made canal, because of its popularity with extreme sport bungee jumpers. For those not ready to risk a jump, the bridge can be more easily driven over, as more than 10,000 cars do every day. A few of the things to see in nearby Varna include the Naval Museum, Seaside Park, and of course, Lake Varna, over which the bridge runs.
The bridge is beautifully lit up at night, with the massive 160 meter span soaring over the canal. Varna has many hotels in all price ranges. View them all and book one the easy way on EasyToBook.com.
