The Museum of Archaeology in Varna has more than 2,100 m2 of exhibition space with over 100,000 objects from the region's various eras of history. Established in 1901 as the Varna Archaeological Society, the first location for the museum was in an empty room at the local Girls High School.

The Museum is in central Varna, right on Slivnitsa Blvd. It was relocated in 1983 to its present location, the Museum also features an impressive library and an interactive study museum for children. When your here, the museum the Varna Necropolis, the Sea Garden, and the Lake Varna are definitely worth a visit as well.
