The Naval Museum in Varna is best known for its floating ship museum, the Drazki torpedo boat that sank the Turkish cruiser Hamidie in the First Balkan War of 1912. Located in the beautiful Villa Diana inside Seaside Park, the Museum follows the history of Bulgaria's navy since 1878 through 12 halls covering more than 400 m2. Also on display are a collection of artillery to defend against maritime attack from the Black Sea, and one of the minesweeper boats used by the Bulgarian Navy. A few of the nearby sights to see include the Museum of Archaeology, the Dolphinarium, and the Beach.
The Museum is at the edge of Varna, where the city meets the Black Sea.
