Levis is in eastern Quebec, Canada, right on the shore of the St. Lawrence River, and is just across the river from Quebec City. For years, it was primarily a residential suburb of Quebec City, but in recent years, many businesses have moved into Levis, allowing people to live and work on the same side of the river. Quebec City is easily accessed from Levis via ferry, which connects one old town with the other, and via two bridges.
