Hotel & Suites Place des Arts Montreal

The lady who runs the hotel is sweet and helpful. classic boutique hotel hospitality. the room was clean, with a fully-stocked kitchen (microwave, fridge, stove, little coffeepot, pot, pan, sink). the furnishings are old and the building very old, but it all adds to the charm of the place. though old, everything is very clean. we stayed in a room with a shared bathroom but our schedule never crossed the other room we shared it with, so there was no waiting, no problems. it's located sighing walking distance of the old part of town as well as the park, the mountain, everything. otherwise there are public bikes available for cheap all over the place. it was an affordable, pleasant little base of tourist operations for my husband and me.
