Pros: Hotel's staffs are all nice. i am very satisfied by that. the bed was comfortable, and the room was big enough for one person. it was clean. and they cleaned my room everyday and provide necessary staffs like towels and shampoo. i was able to make a local phone call for no charge.
Cons: It was 2 stars hotel so the condition of the hotel was understanding. there was no coffee maker, hair dryer, hanger.. on the first day, i asked them to borrow a hair dryer but it was already taken so i couldn't use it. also they don't have hangers so i could't hang my coat. except hotel's facility like hangers, i think this hotel is very good with this price.

Pros: Clean room and bathroom.
Cons: Breakfast was strange - tables in kitchen area, no where to sit and very cramped. basic selection of breakfast choices.
quite noisy, at the back of the hotel, gig venue kicked out with noise right out of window, but luckily didn't go on all night. general streetnoise could be heard which is due to be expected due to location so that wasn't so much an issue.
room was very hot, no air conditioning controls and heat was on low setting. the elevator was a bit dodgy and the fire alarm went off during the night at 1.30am and had to evacuate, then told it was a false alarm. all in all, a bizarre stay, but for a few extra dollars, could have (& should have) stayed in a motel style chain.

Pros: Can't beat it for the money! ste-catherine street is the place to be to party, so for $77 total, it was a great deal being located on the east end. the room was very basic, but clean and had a pedestal sink and mirror, tv, dresser, mini fridge. there was a room air conditioner, thankfully, that worked great. fair priced parking directly across the street.
Cons: The bed only had one sheet and a thin comforter. no blanket? there was a shared bathroom that i thought would be with one other room, but was shared among the entire floor (approx. 10 room). there was no toilet paper in the bathroom on many occasions and no hand soap at the sink. bathroom was raised and not handicap accessible.

Pros: The hotel was located within walking distance of old montreal and rue sainte-catherine, which meant we were able to walk both to a nice dinner and to explore the city. the staff was kind and helpful. overall we had a very pleasant stay here.
Cons: The bathroom wasn't in the room but down the hall, and the room we stayed in was tiny. but with the low cost that was sort of expected.

Pros: Overall it was a great hotel with a good location to the old montreal area. if you want to spend more time around the cresent street area its about a 25 minute walk. its about a 10 minute walk to the bus terminal. its a great place to stay if you want to spend most of you time out and site seeing, there really is not much to do with in the hotel
Cons: Only negative thing is that there are alot of transient people around the hotel or just around this part of the city. you are getting asked for money by homeless people quiet frequently within a few blocks of the hotel.
