Cons: The manager is disgusting and i wish i went to the police station when i said i was going to
he charged me for the room on my credit card and i encured costs when i paid cash . your web site said no tax and he has charged me tax once i left the hotel
i told him i would go to the courts / police and he still charged me
your company or him owes me $22.30 australian
it is not much but it is the principal and his rudeness

Pros: The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. the price was excellent considering the size of the room, facilities, location and a continental breakfast. it was in walking distance to amenities such as grocery store, drug store, restaurants, etc. a pretty quiet place at night.
Cons: The room was a little stuffy and was very smelly of detergent cleaner. when we tried to open the window, the screen came off. we were four people but only received two towels.

Pros: Fair price.not very far from downtown.
Cons: Price was different from the one announced on the website. i thought i booked a room for three adults for $114 and once there they announced a different price under the pretext that there was a additional tax for the 3rd person. i explained that i had actually booked for 3 persons but the receptionist was obviously not willing to hear anything.
also, there was a strong cleaning products smell all over the hotel which triggered major allergies for us...too bad the location was very convenient but i will definitely not use that hotel again.

Pros: The day we arrived, we actually stayed around the motel - there's a small shopping mall and supermarket five minutes walk away, and we even went ten-pin mini-bowling that evening.
Cons: As the name implies, more of a (suburban) motel. opposite direction to the old town - not too far on a bus, but we walked from the train station and it was a very long way! specific directions posted on the website (including bus no. and stops) would be very useful.

Pros: The location was 5 minutes (highway) out of the downtown area in quebec, which was convinient. it has a decent pool in the basement, which is ideal for children.
Cons: The entire motel smelt like cigarette smoke. the coffee machine provided in our room was broken, as was the plug in the bathroom for the hair dryer. the staff at the breakfast buffet were extremely strict about the breakfast included (one of the staff actually took a muffin off our plate and put it back!)

Cons: The beds were hard and not very comfortable. i had 2 pillows, one which was too soft and the other which was too hard. also, it was not very clear how the breakfast worked.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. i experienced rudeness from other french canadian hotels and this hotel was very nice. the rooms were large and clean and there was plenty of space to store clothes, which is a rare find nowadays. the bathroom was small yet lovely with plenty of shelf space.
Cons: There was a slight smoky smell about the hotel but it was faint. i'm sure you might find that anywhere in an area where smoking is still popular. the floors on the first level smelled better.

Pros: Decent hotel, nice and clean rooms, very close to old quebec attractions and the price is right. nothing special or fancy about the hotel but if you are not picky and just want to spend a night or two at the hotel while you sightsee, this hotel is perfect.
Cons: Could smell cigarettes in the lobby all the time. rooms seemed to be okay though.
